Update
I have not posted much lately for a reason. I'm hoping its temporary but time will tell. Due to the economy and perhaps some poor choices from the higher ups I was laid off along with over a third of the company about a month ago. When I crunched the numbers in relationship to my income and expenses things did not line up. I sold my place and now the numbers line up but being homeless for the last month has resulted in limited opportunities for internet access and when I do have it I am concentrating on my job search.

ReplyDeleteMy best to you, Zee. Consider this an opportunity for change. My recent (and sadly, prolonged) lack of employment has taught me at least one thing: there is always a bright side - we just have to resolve ourselves to seeing it that way.

Its all good really. I just have limited access to the internet at the moment. Being homeless wouldn't be bad at all if I had the internet.
ReplyDeleteSad to hear about the job. I'd be happy if you were an investment banker or mortgage broker, but engineers make the world a better place.
ReplyDeleteLuftmensch, that is a horrible thing to say. Investment bankers and mortgage brokers were not the ones who brought these troubles onto us. They have families to feed too. You ought to be ashamed, although I doubt you are.
ReplyDeleteI would never wish this on anyone. This past 1+ years has been hell. Zee, I hope things settle for you soon, I am glad you have a support system to lend you help when you need it.
